What to expect
At Dr. Michael’s wellness center we will make every effort to make your first experience with us as comfortable as possible.
We recommend that you arrive fifteen minutes early for your first visit to allow you the time to complete your required paperwork. We will be happy to answer all of your questions and concerns at that time.
You will be asked about your past health history including your old injuries, chronic problems, your current symptoms, and additional questions designed to help determine the nature of your condition. These include your family history, dietary habits, job or work habits, and previous treatments for the current condition.
A careful physical examination and analysis will be performed to detect any abnormalities which may be causing your problem.
Patient Forms
Upon entering our office our receptionist will greet you and welcome you. We will request that you fill out our patient forms. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself , your condition and your lifestyle.
Consultation
Next you will have a lengthy consultation with Dr. Marios Michael to discuss your health-related problems and concerns and whether our wellness center will meet your goals.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Michael will perform a complete physical examination including and not limited to standard neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. Based upon the results of the history physical exam and orthopedic tests, diagnostic studies may be ordered.
The most common diagnostic studies include:
X-ray exam
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan
Nerve Conduction Velocity
Diagnostic Ultrasound
Laboratory Tests
Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, Dr. Michael will discuss with you the report of findings, treatment options and goals. Our office manager will discuss with you the related costs.
Wellness Program
Prior to leaving, our patients are instructed on a wellness program questionnaire to be conducted at home. Everybody is unique and different and therefore everyone requires a unique and customized wellness plan. The foundation of our overall wellness lifestyle is maintaining healthy posture and good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, supplementation, keeping your weight under control and stress relief.
Payment Options
Dr. Michael’s believes in the value of our wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our wellness center is accepted by most insurance programs. We also accept auto accident and workers compensation cases. For patients who have no insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. Insurance
Most insurance plans are accepted at our office. We accept auto accident claims, personal injury and most health insurance plans. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Our staff can verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no cost to you.
Financing
For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged through financing with Care Credit. It takes just a few minutes to apply and we offer special 0% interest for up to 12 months with no money down! Many patients choose Care Credit and discover care to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.
